AND the last mass sleepover kate will ever have. so that's done with.

party went well. the key is constant activity and no sugar after 9pm. i did want to kill one kid....the child of the only person i've ever gone out for cocktails with. yeah. the kid i liked the least is the daughter of the only friend i've made in the entire state of illinois.

she was a B.R.A.T. tried to tear the birthday banner off the wall. refused to play the games (fun games! water balloon toss, bean bag throws, pictionary, pin the tail on the donkey!), whined about pizza, repeatedly got out of her sleeping bag after lights out (allison, i will have paul drive you back home if i see you out of bed again and i don't think your mother will be very happy about that), didn't get her shit together in the morning after being asked repeatedly so that when tracy picked her up she had to run around like a maniac cause she had a football game to go to for her son.

one girl wanted to wrestle everyone, but she didn't sleep over so i got rid of her pretty early. and poor nicole had an allergy attack and i sent her home because her mother didn't want me to give her benedryl. actually, her mother might not have understood me because there's a bit of a language barrier and nicole was swearing up a storm of spanish when her mom appeared at the door, but she had to leave anyway.

overall, kate had a great birthday. it continues with the ex this weekend when we come to kc. it must be nice to party like that!!
